The exact causes of cancer remain unknown. Various factors, including genetics and environmental influences, may play a role. However, the underlying mechanism of cancer development is consistent: cells undergo numerous breakdowns that they cannot repair, leading them to divide uncontrollably. Under normal circumstances, the immune system detects and eliminates abnormal cells, but in the case of cancer, it fails. Besides, metastases may occur, resulting in tumour foci distant from the original neoplasm.
Childhood cancer arises from genetic mutations in cells that lead to uncontrolled growth and tumour formation. Environmental factors, such as harmful ecological conditions, poor nutrition, living near power lines, and radiation exposure, are widely believed to disrupt normal cell growth and contribute to cancer development in children. Research has shown that certain cleaning products, aerosols, and even some toys may contain hazardous substances that pose risks to children's health.
Children's cancer can be categorised into three types: leukaemias (blood cancer), tumours (solid masses), and lymphomas (lymphatic cancer). Battling these illnesses is challenging and painful, and without the support of compassionate individuals, success is often out of reach.
Unfortunately, not every child has been saved through our foundation efforts. Cancer is relentless, allowing very little time and limited opportunities to fight back. Nonetheless, we strive every day to do everything we can to provide timely assistance and save every child who needs our help.
We strongly believe that cancer can be overcome, as there are many stories of triumph, and they are widely shared! Your involvement and support are crucial to achieving these victories.
Our brave children, Aslan Azheipov, Elina Nurlanova, and Daniel Miller fight for their lives. Let's support them as they struggle very hard!
May your homes always be filled with peace, prosperity, good health and the warmth of your family and friends. May this joyful festival fill your hearts with kindness, compassion and gratitude.
