On the eve of March 8, we congratulated the Turatbekov family and presented them with the most important gift.
On International Women's Day eve, the Sun of Hope Foundation director, Dina Makarenko, paid a ceremonial visit to the National Centre for Maternal and Child Welfare. We wanted to please the mother of little Ali' and make her life happier. Little Ali has lost his legs and can now only move around in a wheelchair. The family is in a difficult financial situation. The boy's mother turned to our foundation seeking help. The day before, we decided to give them a pleasant surprise and came with gifts. A bouquet of pink tulips put the mother in a good mood, and Ali received a sketching kit. He likes to draw, and he promised that he would now delight everyone with his colourful drawings. Before we returned to the office, Ali’s mother had already sent a photo of a postcard from her son -
- congratulations on All Women’s Day!
The principal gift that the mother and son received was a wheelchair. They could only use hospital "transport" so far. Now Ali has his own stroller, which is fully collapsible and adjustable as the child grows.
"We met Ali and his mother at a master class for the Day of Children with Cancer, organised by our Foundation at the National Centre for Maternal and Child Care. The boy painted small details with extreme concentration and was very conscientious in choosing the right colours. Unfortunately, he lost his leg due to an illness and desperately needed a wheelchair. On the eve of International Women's Day, we decided that the best gift for Ali's mother would be the comfort and smile of her beloved son," says Dina Makarenko, director of the Sun of Hope Foundation.
May your homes always be filled with peace, prosperity, good health and the warmth of your family and friends. May this joyful festival fill your hearts with kindness, compassion and gratitude.
