Dear friends, we are excited to share an update about our first ward, Mirbekov Amir. We previously held fundraising efforts for his bone marrow transplantation, and we are happy to report that Amir has been in remission for over a year. This will be the second New Year his family celebrates at a festive table at home.
Mum's news:
"Amirchik is doing well. He is growing and learns something new every day. He has started to speak a little. The other day, we had a scheduled test, and the results were good.
Amir's parents work in Yakutia, while he and his little sister, Rayana, live with their grandparents. Just before the New Year holidays, their parents returned home to celebrate the festive season together."
According to Kenzhe, Amir's mother, the child doesn't fully grasp the festive excitement. However, he asked for a car as a present, along with his favourite cartoon character, Lightning McQueen. But the most important thing is that the whole family will gather around the table on New Year's Eve, with parents spending quality time with their children.
“Thank you for not leaving us in a difficult situation! Thank you to everyone who responded to our request for help. Because of all of you, my son is now in remission!” says Amir's mom.
